Michael Paul Smith

Mr. Smith served as a law clerk to Hon. Joseph F. Murphy of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Mr. Smith's practice is concentrated in Bodie Nagle's Reisterstown office, where he specializes in complex civil litigation, including personal injury, land use, and domestic relations.

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Smith is active in several charitable and community organizations, including the Hannah More School, the Reisterstown Chamber of Commerce, and the Fourth District Democratic Club. Mr. Smith has been instrumental in several political campaigns, having successfully managed the 2002 race of the Baltimore County Executive. He currently serves as close adviser to the 2006 reelection campaign. Mr. Smith is a key adviser to the Committee to Reelect the Sitting Judges in Baltimore County and is an active member of the Baltimore County Bar Association. His reported cases include Cromwell v. Ward, 102 Md. App. 691 (1995).

Mr. Smith is a graduate of University of Baltimore at the School of Law (J.D. 1992).
