Adam Thomas Sampson
Mr. Sampson is an attorney with Bodie Nagle who began his career as a law clerk for The Honorable James T. Smith, Jr., Associate Judge, Circuit Court of Maryland for Baltimore County. Before joining our firm, he was an attorney with Goodell, DeVries, Leech & Dann, LLP.
Adam has represented individuals and corporations in state and federal courts in all areas of civil litigation. He has extensive experience in all phases of commercial litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and the defense of product liability claims, including construction defects.
His reported cases include: Faith v. Keefer, 127 Md. App. 706, 736 A 2d. 422, cert. denied, 357 Md. 191, 742 A.2d 521 (1999); Moore v. Nissan, 376 Md. 558, 831 A.2d 12 (2003); Brown v. Crown Equipment Corporation, 181 S.W.3d 268 (Tenn. 2005); and Morris v. Crown, --- S.E.2d ----, 2006 WL 1805687 (W.Va.). His slip opinions include: Klopman v. Zurich America Ins. Co., 2005 WL 1367080 (D. Md.)(slip op.); Gricco v. Carver Boat Corp. LLC, 2005 WL 3448038 (D. Md.)(slip op.); and Robinson v. Crown, 2006 WL 897669 (E.D.Ark.)(slip op.).
Adam has been appointed by the Circuit Courts for Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Carroll County, Frederick County, and Harford County to mediate cases pending in those courts.
Mr. Sampson is active in the Baltimore County Bar Association. He is the current Law Day Committee Chair and is a past Chair of the Young Lawyers' and Professionalism Committees. Adam also served on the Young Lawyers' Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association. He is serving an appointment as a Member of the Peer Review Committee of the Attorney Grievance Commission.
Adam is a graduate of Loyola College in Maryland (B.A. 1994); his law degree is from the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., with honors, 1997).
