Chester H. Hobbs IV

Mr. Hobbs specializes in estate planning and administration; trust drafting and administration; and commercial, bankruptcy, and corporate law. He frequently advises clients regarding limited-liability companies as well as business and individual tax planning. His corporate practice includes mergers and acquisitions and the formation of corporations, partnerships, and other business entities. His bankruptcy practice involves representation of personal and corporate clients. Mr. Hobbs handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for the firm and for Lawyer's Choice Title, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary. He is an agent for the Chicago Title Company and Commonwealth Land Title Company.

Mr. Hobbs has taught estate and trust law at Villa Julie College in Stevenson, Maryland. He is a member of the Baltimore County and Maryland State Bar Associations. He is a member of the Maryland Estate Planning Council and the Estates and Trusts Section of the Maryland State Bar Association. In addition to all Maryland courts, Mr. Hobbs is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Hobbs is a graduate of the University of Baltimore (B.A. 1984) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., 1987; L.L.M. in taxation, 2004).
