Winn C. Friddell
Mr. Friddell joined Bodie Nagle in 2000. He has been a practicing attorney since 1987, originally with Allewalt & Murphy, P.A., in Baltimore City, for which he became partner in 1989 and managing partner from 1997.
Mr. Friddell is a litigation specialist, particularly in civil defense cases. He has tried more than 3000 cases in Maryland District and Circuit Courts and in the Federal District Court. He has defended claims in the areas of construction disputes and defects, product liability, personal injury, toxic torts, transportation, workers' compensation, property subrogation, lead paint defense, and insurance coverage. He represents Allstate Insurance Company, Met Life Auto and Home, Agency Insurance Company, Paramount Insurance Company, American Skyline Insurance Company, Ohio Casualty Group, and Auto Owners Insurance Company.
Mr. Friddell is on the board of the Maryland Defense Counsel and chairs its Negligence and Insurance Committee. He is a member of the Baltimore City and County Bar Associations, the Maryland Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Federal Trial Bar Association, the Fourth Circuit, and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Friddell is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A., 1977). He also holds a master's in education from the University of Virginia (1979) and was an instructor at Gilman School from 1979 through 1983. He obtained his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., 1986). He holds an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
